Slide into mushy grass and hearts galore
Express the way you feel today.
Slipping into the ground once more,
Love the way you choose to play.
Pick a flower and let it veer
Into the hands of another that wishes to slide.
Fall deep, fall fast. Never sing a silent fear.
Right into the mushy grass that wind may glide.
With root by stem and stem by leaf
Light will enter the slide’s wet feet
And when that light is caught by thief
An end that love shall never meet.
Hearts so true could live forever,
Slide with me and let thee aver.
